Our Mission

God has a mission and that mission has a church. We are truly blessed to know that God has included us to be a part of what God is doing and what God wants to do in and through First Lutheran. We know profoundly that we exist to make a difference and to have an impact for the kingdom of God. God’s mission through us is 

 to raise up disciples in the Fremont area who transform lives through Christ.

First Lutheran has identified FOUR CORES that brings greater clarity and focus to the mission that is before us.

Worship ~ We are here to worship God. The church is Jesus’ idea. We want to be very intentional about incorporating worship in everything that we say and do! We want to give God our worship and our praise and our very best!

Discipleship ~ With a few words, “Come follow me,” Jesus calls us to live life differently. This call to discipleship is a life-long adventure. If our mission is to raise up disciples then we need to be very intentional about raising up, equipping, and sending people into the mission field.

Children and Youth ~  First Lutheran has a strong and a vital history within the area of children and youth. Raising kids takes time…so does raising up disciples. It is critical to be intentional in these early years of life.  

Mission and Outreach ~ We have been blessed to be a blessing! Mission and Outreach is part of the DNA of First Lutheran as we are sent to make a difference in the world in Jesus’ name. 

 It is delight to be a part of what God is doing and what God wants us do in and through First Lutheran Church.
