	Travel Opportunity Survey – Branson, MO After receiving many requests for another FLC trip, we are looking to organize a trip to Branson, MO to see “David – Live on Stage” at the Sight & Sounds theater. The hope is to travel sometime during November-December 2025 to take advantage of seeing Branson during the Christmas season, in addition to the many wonderful shows! The trip will be 3 nights, and 4 days for a cost of $899 per person. Official sign up will be in early June, but right now, we need some feedback. Please answer this 3 question survey if you are interested in FLC trips OR talk with Gina about your preferences. 	LFS Kick It Up Shoe and Sock Collection In May, we are partnering with Lutheran Family Services. We will be collecting donations of new children’s shoes and socks (birth through age 6) to auction off at the LFS Friends and Family Event on June 4. Shop on your own, through our Amazon Wish List, or make an online donation through our website so we can shop for you. Our goal is to exceed 100 pairs of sweet little shoes and to gather at least 200 pairs of socks. These shoes and socks will be available for eligible families to pick up at the Boutique at the Center for Healthy Families.
	Mobile Banquet – June 12 The FLC Mobile Banquet will be delivering 250+ meals to Meadowbrook, LifeHouse, and ASPIRE on Thursday, June 12 from 5:30-6:30pm. Please consider helping make this possible with your donations of food items, money or time. All donations should be brought to the church by Wednesday, June 11 by NOON. Click on the Sign up Now to see where help is needed. Monetary donations to support the meal ministry are also welcome. We are collecting flip flops as our extra items this month!
	2025 Sunday Morning Gathering & Altar Flower Sponsors Fellowship is an important part of Sunday mornings. Sharing our faith stories over coffee and donuts helps us grow as the FLC family. The Gathering sponsor helps cover the cost of the refreshments during fellowship time before and after Sunday services. The altar flowers are delivered each week to someone needing a little cheer or celebrating a special event. You will be contacted prior to your week for payment and your special message for the announcements. Call the church office if you need help getting your days reserved. You may include your payment in the offering on Sunday (be sure to designate your payment) or click “Sponsor Payment” to the left and fill out the Miscellaneous Payment section and specify your payment description.
	Lawn Care – Mowing We have had some moisture and warm temperatures which means grass will be growing soon! Look for opportunities to help with lawn care here at First Lutheran. Zero-Turn Mowers: We need volunteers willing and able to operate zero-turn mowers provided by the church to mow the outer field areas around the church every week. This job takes 1 person approximately 7 hours or 2 people approximately 4 hours. If you have questions, please contact Dave Poppe (402-619-7141). Lawn care is usually completed on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday so the church looks nice on Sundays. In addition to mowing, we also need volunteers to help edge and assist with landscape clean up as needed. If you are interested, please call the church office. 	Youth & Childrens’ Ministries 2024-25 Register now for all youth activities at FLC. Sunday School (age 3 – grade 6). WAM Kids, 7th & 8th grade Confirmation. Middle School youth group, High school youth group. Please contact the church at 402-721-2959.
	Breakfast Club Treats Every Thursday morning, a group gathers to do some jobs around the church and spend fellowship time with coffee and treats. We are looking for people who would be willing to bring treats to serve this group. The treats need to be at the church by 9 am on Thursdays.
	Athletic Shoe Recycling FLC is partnering with a company called gotsneakers? to recycle athletic shoes. Shoes that are badly worn are shredded and the materials are incorporated into new products. Shoes with some life left in them are redistributed to markets in which they will continue to be worn. AND, the gotsneakers? company pays a small amount for shoes that are sent in, no matter how worn out they are! Proceeds will support Spoudazo. Shoes (which must be at least 4.5 inches long) accepted are: running, walking, hiking, court shoes, cleats (rubber only), casual (such as Skechers and Vans). Any brand is acceptable; they do not need to be name-brand shoes. Please leave all insoles and laces intact. Bring your shoe donations to the church. Shoes not accepted are: boots (except hiking), dress shoes, flip flops, sandals, slippers, and water shoes.
