	Mobile Banquet – May 14 First Lutheran will serve 270+ free meals to Regency Mobile Home Park, LifeHouse, and ASPIRE on Thursday, May 14, from 5:30-6:30 pm. We are looking for help with donations, food prep, serving and cleanup. All donations should be brought to the church by NOON on Wednesday, May 13. Click on the Sign up NOW to see where help is needed. Donations to support the meal ministry are also welcome. We are collecting beach and bath towels as well as disinfectant wipes as our extra items this month.
	Lincoln Lutheran Choir Concert Sunday, April 19 \| 3:00pm First Lutheran Church \| Worship Center Come experience an afternoon of uplifting music and reflection at the upcoming FREE concert, “Jesus My Joy,” on Sunday, April 19 at 3:00pm in the Worship Center. We are thrilled to host the Lincoln Lutheran Choir along with their special guests, our very own FLC Choir, for a performance dedicated to celebrating faith through song.
	Work Day At Carol Joy Holling Camp Saturday, May 16 \| 7:30am-1:30pm Volunteer to set the vibe for summer camp on Saturday, May 16 for a work day at Carol Joy Holling Camp! CJH needs help with various projects that will help get them ready to welcome campers. There are projects for everyone — every age and ability (kids 16 & under must be accompanied by an adult). Breakfast & lunch are included. Click the “Sign up NOW” button to sign up.
	Lawn Mowing We’re all ready for the snow to surpass and the warm temperatures to set in! Enjoy the fresh air and the satisfaction of a freshly cut lawn while serving our church family by joining our mowing team! Exterior Lawn (Zero-Turn Mowers): Do you know how to operate a zero-turn mower or want to learn how? We need volunteers willing & able to operate zero-turn mowers to mow the outer field areas of the church each week. This job takes 1 person approx. 7 hours or 2 people approx. 4 hours. If you have questions, please contact Dave Poppe (402-619-7141). Click “Sign Up Now” to sign up for Zero-Turn Mowing dates. All lawn care equipment is provided! Lawn care is usually completed on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday so the church looks nice on Sundays. In addition to mowing, we also need volunteers to help edge and assist with landscape clean up as needed. If you are interested in keeping this corner of God’s creation beautiful, please call the church office.
	Spoudazo NextGen 2026 Registration 8th-12th Graders \| Registration is OPEN! Do you have a passion for sharing the gospel? Do you love to sing or act? Do you want to grow your relationship with other teens and God? If yes to any of these, Spoudazo NextGen is for you! Spoudazo NextGen is an ecumenical christian high school music and drama ministry group for 8th-12th graders! Rehearsals begin on May 26 and will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm. Camp is July 7th-9th from 9am-3pm. Tour dates are July 15-19 with the home concert being held at FLC on July 26. The group will head West into Colorado on tour, the cost is $350. Registration and $100 of the total cost is due by April 30, 2026. COLLEGE LEADERS WANTED! College leaders are an integral part of the Spoudazo team. We are currently accepting applications from college aged students wanting to be a small group leader in Spoudazo NextGen. Click the “Volunteer” button to get signed up! Program Details: Have you ever felt like there is no hope for your life? Or that you have no joy? Maybe you’ve thought no one could love you. Or worse, that no one could forgive your past. Join us as we follow several clients who seek therapy for the negativities of life. Through various exercises, each patient learns that to KNOW GOD is to know His love, grace, peace, and so much more! Know NO God is an hour long presentation that features popular music by Brandon Lake, Elevation Rhythm, Phil Wickham, & MORE!
	2026 VBS Student Registration! Rainforest Falls VBS – Discover the Nature of God! July 19-22, 5:30-8:15pm \| July 23, 5:30pm Closing Program Become rooted in a relationship with God this summer at our 2026 Vacation Bible School! VBS is July 19-22 from 5:30-8:15pm, with a closing program on July 23 at 5:30pm for ages 4 through 6th grade. Each day includes activities, projects, fun, Bible learning, and supper served from 5:30-6:00pm. Students will also receive a t-shirt (Not guaranteed if registered after July 5). And thanks to a generous donor VBS is FREE! Student registration is open! Come participate in a week of music, crafts, activities, Bible stories & MORE! Bring friends and dive into a closer relationship with God!
	Volunteer for VBS 2026! July 19-23 Although VBS seems far away, it will be summer before you know it! Preparations have begun for 2026 VBS, the program is Rainforest Falls. We need YOU to join our VBS Volunteer Crew! See God’s power working through FLC. There are many ways to provide for VBS at FLC. If you’re interested, contact Gina to see where your gifts can best be used!
	2026 Sunday Morning Gathering & Altar Flower Sponsors Fellowship is an important part of Sunday mornings. Sharing our faith stories over coffee and donuts helps us grow as the FLC family. The Gathering sponsor helps cover the cost of the refreshments during fellowship time before and after Sunday services. The altar flowers are delivered each week to someone needing a little cheer or celebrating a special event. You will be contacted prior to your week for payment and your special message for the announcements. Call the church office if you need help getting your days reserved. You may include your payment in the offering on Sunday (be sure to designate your payment) or click “Sponsor Payment” to the left and fill out the Miscellaneous Payment section and specify your payment description.
	Youth & Childrens’ Ministries Registration 2025-26 A new (or updated) registration is required for each child each school year to participate in our Youth & Children’s programs. This assures us that we have the most updated information for your family. Sunday Small Groups (formally known as Sunday School) – PreK-6th Grade (Sundays, 9:40-10:10am) FLY 56 (5th & 6th Grade) – Wednesdays Afterschool, (3:45ish-5:00pm) WAM (K-4th Grade)- Wednesdays, 4-5pm WAM (5th-8th Grade)- Wednesdays, 5:00-5:45pm Confirmation (7th Grade & Up)- Every Other Wednesday, 7:00-8:30pm MS FLYS (7th/8th Grade)- Every Other Wednesday, 7:00-8:30pm HS FLYS (9th-12th Grade)- Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00pm
	Breakfast Club Treats Every Thursday morning, a group gathers to do some jobs around the church and spend fellowship time with coffee and treats. We are looking for people who would be willing to bring treats to serve this group. The treats need to be at the church by 9 am on Thursdays.
